3 Accused Of Felony Child Abuse For Death Of 2-Month-Old In Penrose

PENROSE, Colo. (CBS4) - Three people have been arrested in Fremont County after a child was found dead in a home where a suspected hash oil lab was found.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Logan Pedersen, 26; Claxton "Buck" Wilson, 36; and Rachel Wilson, 28; all from Penrose, were arrested last Wednesday and were booked into the Fremont County Jail.

On Sept. 2 deputies responded to a home the 700 block of 4th Street in Penrose on the report of a deceased child. When they arrived they found a 2-month-old child dead.

The sheriff's office said other children also lived in the home.

All three suspects remain in jail on a no bond hold for felony child abuse charges.
