Broncos Notebook, Nov. 25: Emmanuel Sanders Doing Drills At Practice
Broncos starting another week of practice with Brock Osweiler as starting QB, which will be the case for the next couple weeks at least as Peyton Manning is out with a foot injury.
Today, Osweiler was named AFC offensive player of the week for his performance against the Bears (250 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs and 74.1 completion percentage).
With Manning out for at least a few weeks, Broncos signed another QB today, adding veteran Christian Ponder to the roster. He was at practice today wearing #2. Ponder was a 2011 1st round pick by the Minnesota Vikings, spending one year as a starter.
Emmanuel Sanders was at practice today going through drills during the open media portion.
DeMarcus Ware was on the side working with a trainer.
Broncos will practice earlier tomorrow to get the players more of the afternoon off on Thanksgiving.
