CoPIRG's Annual 'Trouble In Toyland' Survey Released

DENVER (CBS4) - A report by the Colorado Public Interest Research Group claims some hazardous toys are being sold at major retailers this holiday season.

CoPIRG's annual Trouble in Toyland survey looked at more than 200 toys. No toxic toys were found. Instead, CoPIRG focused on toy choking hazards and those that could damage a child's hearing.

"Excessively loud toys can have an impact on your hearing. We're seeing increasingly more and more kids have some form of hearing loss as they're entering their teenage years" CoPIRG Director Danny Katz said.
