Gas Prices Stay Low Across Colorado
DENVER (CBS4)- A big drop in the price of oil is keeping prices at gas pumps across Colorado down.
The average price per gallon in Denver is $1.96 but CBS4 found prices as low at $1.81 at stations on Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue in Denver.
There have been reports of gas as low as $1.75 a gallon in parts of the Denver metro area.
This week's national average is $2.20 per gallon, down by more than a penny from last week.
South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices among states in the continental U.S. at $1.94 a gallon with California has the highest at $2.82.
