Soak Up The Weekend Sun, New Storm Possible By Monday

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - Get ready for a very nice stretch of weather on the way to Colorado just in time for the weekend.

It'll be perfect to wrap up fall chores outside such as raking the leaves, or maybe getting an early start on the Christmas decorations.

But looking beyond Sunday the weather map is starting to look very interesting.

While it's too early to talk specifics we're feeling more and more certain that something will bring a change to our weather early next week.

We look at a number of computer forecast models in Colorado's Weather Center and while they all vary in their details, they're all pointing toward a big cool down starting Monday along with the chance for snow.

Right now there are a number of possibilities on the table that range from just a bunch of wind and colder temperatures to a quick dose of snow like we saw Wednesday.

One forecast model even hints at the potential for blizzard conditions somewhere along and east of Interstate 25 by Tuesday.

Stay with CBS4 and Colorado's Weather Center and we'll keep you updated with the very latest online, on air and via social media.
