Copper Mountain Opens For The Season
COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4)- The ski season kicked off Wednesday at Copper Mountain. With the resort opening on Veterans Day, Copper offered free skiing and riding to all active or retired military and their families.
The ski area started operating its lifts on Wednesday morning to celebrate the fist day of the 2015-2016 season.
There are two intermediate trails open, Rhapsody and Main Vein via the American Eagle chairlift. Easy Rider beginner learning area and Eagle Jib Park are expected to open by Saturday.
