Snoop Dogg Launches Celebrity Line Of Marijuana In Colorado

DENVER (CBS4)- Rapper and marijuana enthusiast Snoop Dogg has launched Colorado's first celebrity line of marijuana. "Leafs by Snoop" is a collaboration between the rapper and LivWell dispensaries in Colorado.

The rapper launched his product line, which features eight different strains of marijuana, edibles and concentrates at a private party Monday night in the Denver area.

Snoop isn't the only musician getting in to the marijuana industry, country legend Willie Nelson plans to launch a marijuana line called "Willie's Reserve" and the first family of reggae, the Marleys, are behind the "Marley Natural" line of products.

Snoop can't technically own the brand that bears his name, because he is a resident of California, not Colorado.

Snoop Dogg was in Denver for the launch party on Monday night.
