Secret Shopping For Products To Hide Drugs

DENVER (CBS4) - CBS4 sent an undercover producer shopping for products that teenagers often buy to hide drugs.

At a retail store just blocks away from a Denver High School, we found an entire line of products designed to look like common household items (soda bottles, ice tea cans, household cleaners) which were equipped with secret concealment chambers.

Online, the products are referred to as "diversion banks" or "hide-a-safes" to store your valuables and throw off a potential burglar. But when we went shopping, the clerk made it clear, the products were frequently sold to stash marijuana.
