Rangers Rescue Man And Teen Son From Longs Peak
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - A father and son from Loveland are okay after getting stranded on Longs Peak.
The man and his 13-year-old son called Rocky Mountain National Park rangers late Sunday night for help. Search and rescue teams found them just before 11 p.m. and helped them to a backcountry shelter near Chasm Lake.
The pair stayed through the night and hiked out Monday morning.
