Shooting Near Motel Becomes Homicide Investigation
DENVER (CBS4) - A shooting in Denver is now a homicide investigation after one person died. It happened near the Sand & Sage Motel on the 8400 block of East Colfax Avenue.
The first report of a shooting came in at approximately 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, when one person was shot. Officers arrived on scene to find one male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is currently no information on a suspect. Police are now investigating the shooting as a homicide.
