Deputies Arrest 5 Suspects On Suspicion Of Murder In Missing Woman Case

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- Weld County Sheriff's deputies arrested five people for suspicion of murder in connection with last month's disappearance of a Pierce woman.

Greeley Police Cpl. Matt Turner said Chad Iiler, Daniel Meyer, Michael Vassil, Scott Hanchett and Karly Hanchett were arrested on charges of first-degree murder. Crystal Griffin was arrested as an accessory to murder.

Their arrests are part of the investigation into the disappearance of Tera Lewandowski. The 34-year-old went missing in September.

The Weld County Sheriff's Office has been assisting the Ault Police Department into Lewandowski's disappearance.

Authorities had said previously that her disappearance was suspicious.
