Young Patients Get A Halloween Treat
DENVER (CBS4) - Some superheroes brightened the day of young patients at a Denver hospital on Friday.
The heroes swung into action at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. Captain America and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle washed windows to the delight of patients. And when those superheroes got to the ground, they met up with the patients.
One mom of a patient said it was a real Halloween treat.
"It's a really good break. It's a stress reliever. And it makes it fun to come to the hospital. And it makes everything just more enjoyable," said Becky Fitts. "(My daughter) rolls with the punches."
The heroes were joined by others, including the Cat in the Hat and Wonder Woman, also took time to visit with the kids inside the hospital.
