Man Struck, Killed By Truck On Highway 36
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man was struck and killed on Highway 36 near Federal Boulevard after he got out of his car on Friday morning.
The crash, which involved a truck, caused big backups. It happened just after 10 a.m., and the westbound lanes were closed between Federal Boulevard and Sheridan Boulevard.
The highway was expected to reopen sometime before 1 p.m.
The name of the victim hasn't been released, and so far police haven't said why the man got out of the car.
