Fatal Hit & Run In Glenwood Canyon Has Troopers Asking For Help

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado State Patrol confirms a 20-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Interstate 70 Wednesday night.

Troopers say the man crashed into a guard rail near mile marker 130 in Glenwood Canyon in the eastbound lanes. They report the driver got out of his wrecked vehicle and then was struck by another driver.

The man died on the scene.

Eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed for more than five hours overnight as investigators collected evidence.

Troopers say they have no information about the vehicle that left the scene of the crash at this time and anyone with information should contact them.
