State Trooper Involved In 3-Car Crash On Highway 85
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - A Colorado State Patrol trooper was involved in an accident on Highway 85 Friday morning.
It happened around 6:15 a.m. near 104th Avenue, just north of the meeting with Interstate 76. The left two lanes of the southbound direction of Hwy 85 were blocked for about two hours. All lanes were opened shortly before 8 a.m.
The trooper's vehicle was hit from behind, which pushed it into another vehicle, causing a three car crash.
There are minor injuries and a CSP spokesperson said it is unlikely that anyone will be transported.
