Water Main Break On Colorado Boulevard Causing Traffic Headaches
DENVER (CBS4) - A water main break on Colorado Boulevard as snarling the evening commute on Monday.
Colorado Boulevard was down to one lane in each direction between 12th and 13th avenues.
The break occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. and a Denver Water crew has been working on the break. Repairs could last into the night.
"Denver Water has not identified the cause of the leak. Many factors can contribute to a service line leak, including age, pipe material, how corrosive the soil is, water flow and temperature," Travis Thompson with Denver Water said in a statement.
