Wildfire In Golden Gate Canyon Gets Close To Some Homes

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Some homeowners have been warned they might have to evacuate due to a wildfire burning in Jefferson County.

Fire crews have warned 12 homeowners that they may have to evacuate because of the fire burning in Golden Gate Canyon.

The fire was smaller than an acre Friday evening but firefighters are worried enough to bring in some air support.

The fire has been named the Black Hawk Ridge Fire. It's about 70 percent contained and crews expect to get it fully contained sometime Friday night.
