Thornton Police Search For Bank Robber

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Thornton are searching for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank on Thursday morning.

Officers rushed to the bank located at 9828 N. Grant Street in reference to a robbery.

Witnesses say an adult male entered the bank and approached a teller. The suspect then demanded money and ran northbound, away from the bank into an older model Chevy Blazer. Police were able to get surveillance photos of the suspect vehicle.

The suspect didn't display any weapons and there were no injuries.

Surveillance photos show the suspect who is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, last seen wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt, dark-colored pants, sunglasses and baseball cap.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model Chevy Blazer with faded paint on the hood, the front and rear wheels on the passenger side do not match.
