Oscar Mayer Releases Dating App For Bacon Lovers

DENVER (CBS4) - Oscar Mayer unveiled a new app called Sizzl, aimed at connecting people who love bacon.

Users begin by specifying what kind of bacon they like, such as turkey or pork; how they like their bacon, whether it be chewy, crispy, or burned; and whether or not they like to share.

The dating app uses a method similar to Tinder, but has its own 'sizzl meter.'

Users are shown others and can immediately indicate their level of interest by clicking a sizzling heart if they are like-minded bacon lovers, or pressing an X to pass up that person and their bacon interests.

It includes a messaging function to contact people whose bacon preference suit the user's fancy.

Oscar Mayer advertises the new app for dating but also as a way to meet bacon lovers in your area.
