Trial For Men Accused Of Murdering Man During A Pot Deal Begins
UPDATE: Jury Acquits 2 Men In Murder Of Lafayette Man
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The Boulder Daily Camera reported attorneys made their opening statements Tuesday in the trial for the men accused of killing Nathaniel Tallman.
Tallman of Lafayette disappeared in January of 2014 after meeting the suspects for a marijuana deal. The 25-year-old's body was found along a highway in Wyoming two months later.
Moises Mendez, 26, and Daniel Ortiz, 38, are charged with first-degree murder, robbery and aggravated car theft.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
