Pedestrian Killed While Walking Across Parker Road
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - One person is dead after police say they were hit by a vehicle after trying to cross Parker Road on foot.
The crash happened at midday Saturday south of Interstate 225, and officials with the Colorado State Patrol say the driver stayed on scene.
The pedestrian has not been identified. Authorities said it appears they were crossing the road "outside of the crosswalk area in front of traffic."
Some lanes of Parker Road were closed following the incident.
