AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Air Force Academy Class of 1995 had a special message for one of their classmates aboard the International Space Station- a message that could be seen from space.

The cadets at the academy located south of the Denver metro area helped the alumni create the message to the astronaut.

Lindgren received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (minor in Mandarin Chinese) from the Air Force Academy in 1995, a Master of Science degree in Cardiovascular Physiology from Colorado State University (CSU) in 1996 and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Colorado in 2002.
