Man Suspected Of Killing Teen In Aurora Charged With Murder

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors filed murder charges against an 18-year-old man accused of shooting a 14-year-old boy outside an Aurora apartment complex.

The 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office on Wednesday announced the charges against James Jason Tobias Lee, who is suspected in the death of Marcell Jay Johnson on Sept. 2. Johnson was shot in the chest outside the Fitzsimons Apartments in Aurora. A 17-year-old was also shot in the arm.

Lee is being held without bond and is due in court Thursday to hear the charges against him. He faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, second-degree assault, and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
