Man Involved In Fight At Bar Gets Into Car, Drives Into Group Of People & Flees
DENVER (CBS4) - Police say a car plowed into a group of people and then sped off Saturday night.
Witnesses say it happened after a fight outside a bar near Alameda Avenue and Canosa Street. An officer had been patrolling nearby and tried to break up the fight. That's when one of the suspects jumped into the car.
"I turned around and this car was coming like 40, 50 miles per hour. It was quick, like, he just swerved, hit all kinds of people and kept on going, didn't care," witness Kimberly Rudda said.
One man was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police are looking for a purple Nissan sedan. It's missing its passenger side mirror and could have heavy damage to the windshield.
