Chick-Fil-A Gets Cooking At DIA Despite Controversy

DENVER (CBS4)- After a debate over whether Chick-Fil-A will be allowed to open a location at the Denver International Airport, it seems the proposal is moving forward.

Last month, some Denver City Council members were concerned about the chain's stance on gay marriage and worried it could impact hiring and treatment of employees.

The Denver City Council's Business Development Committee met Tuesday morning to discuss Chick-Fil-A's least at DIA.

After a unanimous decision to allow the chain to move into the space currently occupied by Steak Escape on Concourse B, there will be a full council meeting to discuss the plan.
