Broncos Set Attendance Records At Training Camp As Camp Comes To End
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Denver Broncos fans helped set attendance records at training camp this year.
In 13 practices open to the public, a total of 54,313 fans came to watch the Broncos at Broncos Headquarters. That eclipsed the previous record of 43,076 fans in 2012.
The average attendance of 4,178 fans this year also bested the previous average mark of 2,872 fans in 2012.
A single-day record of 5,507 fans came to watch the Broncos practice on Friday, Aug. 7.
Training camp came to an end on Thursday with 3,094 fans. The Broncos take on the Houston Texans at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Houston for their second preseason game.
