Police Help Out Bear Whose Head Gets Stuck In Protein Bottle

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs early Tuesday morning helped out a bear who got in a jam.

The bear, described as a cub, was found on the city's west side with a plastic protein powder bottle on its head. Police were called to 14th and Kiowa Street and tried to remove the bottle after arriving on scene.

Officers were unable to get it off, so they put the bear in the back seat of a patrol car and brought it to a nearby fire station.

There, a wildlife officer sedated the cub and firefighters used special tools to get the bottle off.
