Black Bear Tagged, Released In Foothills After It's Found Relaxing In Broomfield

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - Wildlife officers released a black bear back in the foothills after it was found relaxing along a bike path in Broomfield.

YouReporter Nina Bowling sent CBS4 a picture of the bear which was lazing off Berthoud Trail Road.

State wildlife officers tranquilized the animal, tagged it and released it west of Boulder.

It was the first time the animal had been tagged.
