Alcohol Suspected In Crash That Killed 3 On Highway 285 Near Golden
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Three people were killed in single-car crash near Golden Friday night.
The crash happened on Highway 285.
The driver, identified as Alex Granillo-Alvarado, 22, survived the crash and was taken to the hospital.
Samantha Manzanares-Benavidez, 23; Chelsey Gallegos, 25; and Sean Nuniz, 22; all died on scene.
Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor to the crash.
A witness saw the car drive off the road and stopped to investigate, but could not find the car. The victims were found Saturday morning outside of the vehicle.
