Broncos Notebook - Aug. 10, 2015: Tuesday's Practice Closed To Public Due To Flooding

The Broncos announced that Tuesday's practice will be closed to the public because of storm damage at team headquarters.

The rain leaked into the locker rooms and swamped the field at the training facility, while tents were blown down by the strong winds.

"We are very disappointed that today's storm damage has forced us to close Tuesday's practice to our fans, who have shown such incredible support to the Broncos throughout the first part of training camp," Broncos Vice President of Operations Chip Conway said on DenverBroncos.com. "Our operations and grounds crews are working diligently to restore all necessary areas so that we can re-open the UCHealth Training Center to fans as soon as possible."

Broncos tight end Owen Daniels, who happens to be a meteorologist, described the downpour on Xfinity Monday Live.

"A torrential downpour. I would say a heavy thunderstorm that kind of got parked over one area and when that happens you get a lot of rain in a short period of time," he said.

Practice will continue on Tuesday, just with empty stands.
