Underage Teen Drives Completely Through Neighbor's House

DENVER (CBS4) - A 14-year-old girl who got behind the wheel of her father's car drove it into a neighbor's townhome Friday afternoon.

According to Sonny Jackson with Denver police, when the girl's father left the car running the girl somehow got behind the wheel, backed up and hit another car. She then drove it completely through the neighbor's townhome.

Nobody was in the home at the time and the girl wasn't injured.

"I get home and we see that the BMW has been hit and the bumper is there. Apparently the lady came over and hit this white vehicle, flipped it around and drove … all the way through the apartment complex," neighbor Fred Chavez said.

"To go completely through a townhome is very uncommon," Melissa Taylor with the Denver Fire Department said.

It's not clear if any charges will be filed.
