Greeley Man Gets 36 Years In Prison For Murder-For-Hire Plot
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A Greeley man who pleaded guilty to a murder-for-hire plot has been sentenced.
Alexander Bennett, 36, will spend 30 years in prison. He and a man named Grant Lewis killed 24-year-old Heidi Bernadzikowski in Maryland back in 2000.
Bernadzikowski's boyfriend hired them for the murder.
Lewis is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder. The boyfriend is awaiting sentencing on a first-degree murder conviction.
