Boulder County Sheriff's Office Evacuated When Woman Brings In Suspicious Package

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - People working at the Boulder County Sheriff's Office were forced to evacuate Friday because of a suspicious package.

A woman cleaning out her attic found a suspicious looking package and brought it into the sheriff's office for proper disposal. An officer thought it might be old unstable dynamite so they called in the bomb squad to take care of it.

Deputies say the woman did the right thing but in the future they ask that people let investigators take a look before moving or handling anything potentially dangerous.
