Deadly Motorcycle Crash On Highway 85 Investigated
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Highway 85 in Brighton early Wednesday morning.
Copter4 flew over the scene of the crash when it happened around 5 a.m. on Highway 85 near 168th Avenue in Brighton.
Police said the driver of a Ford Escape tried to turn left onto 168th and hit the motorcycle. The motorcyclist died at the scene. He has not been identified.
The driver of the Escape was not hurt.
Investigators said they believe someone ran a red light but are still conducting witness interviews to determine the cause of the crash.
