New Director Of The CBI Sworn In
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation welcomed its new director on Monday.
Michael Rankin was sworn in as the eighth director of the CBI at CBI headquarters in Lakewood.
Rankin started his career as a police officer and then as a special agent for the FBI in Denver.
Rankin replaces Ronald Sloan, who retired a month ago.
"I know the challenges will be significant, but I also know that the committed men and women from the CBI will help me through that, and together we'll meet those challenges," Rankin said.
