Jet Backs Into Catering Cart At DIA, Passengers Told To Deplane
DENVER (CBS4) - Passengers had to evacuate a plane at Denver International Airport Tuesday evening after an incident involving a collision.
According to Heath Montgomery with DIA, shortly after 6 p.m. a Southwest Airlines flight was pushing back and made contact with a catering cart and pushed it over.
Passengers arriving at the next gate heard the collision, saw the cart tip over and saw the driver crawl out the top.
No injuries were reported and no fuel was spilled. As a precaution the passengers had to deplane and return to the concourse.
Passengers will be re-accommodated by Southwest.
