Driver In Chase That Stretched From Brighton To Hudson Captured
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Police say they have captured the driver who led them on a high speed chase on Friday afternoon.
Officers had been trying to pull over a vehicle that had a wanted fugitive inside in Brighton when the driver took off.
The chase went east from there on County Road 3 and up Interstate 76 to County Road 52 in Hudson. That's where it ended after the suspects' car crashed into a ditch.
Police arrested the passenger, but the driver got away.
He is identified as Cesar Irreza, and is now in custody.
Police say Irreza stole two more vehicles while he was on the run.
