Man Accused Of Killing State Patrol Cadet In Crash Bound Over For Trial
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Prosecutors on Thursday presented evidence against a man accused in the death of a Colorado State Patrol cadet.
Christopher Gebers, 27, faces a number of charges including first-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Gebers acted recklessly when he crashed his car into two troopers in May. They also say he was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he fled a traffic stop and then crashed into another accident scene.
Taylor Thyfault died at the scene and Trooper Clinton Rushing was injured.
The judge on Thursday found there was enough evidence to bind Gebers over to trial on all the charges.
