Teen On Cross-Country Road Trip With Friends Goes Missing While On Run

ANTONITO, Colo. (CBS4) - A 19-year-old male went missing Thursday while on a run with a friend near Antonito.

Joe Keller is from Cleveland, Tennessee and was on a cross-county road trip with several friends. He was last seen Thursday around 4:30 p.m. near Rainbow Trout Ranch, where the group was staying.

Collin Gwaltney, traveling with Keller, said they went for a one-hour run on a Forest Service road, and after thirty minutes he turned around and could not find Keller.

Dozens of volunteers searched the area on Saturday, in addition to a helicopter, search dogs, and people on horseback. Keller has now been missing for over 50 hours.

Keller is described as 5'7" in height, 150 pounds, and has blonde hair. Gwaltney posted a photo of the shoes Keller was wearing when the two went for a run.

A Facebook page dedicated to finding Joe Keller has been created.
