'He Went Flying' Says Witness Of Motorcycle & Car Collision

DENVER (CBS4) - A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car Wednesday night.

Shortly after 10 p.m., a car and motorcycle crashed at the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Colorado Boulevard. A woman was making a left turn in her vehicle onto East Iliff Avenue when a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed came down southbound Colorado Boulevard.

"We were driving down Colorado Boulevard and a motorcyclist came up, going so fast we couldn't believe it, to our right. And then, within four seconds of him passing us, he hit a car, and went flying," said Sherry Larreau, witness.

The motorcyclist suffered serious bodily injuries in the crash. His condition is unknown.
