Bear Shreds Family's Car After Breaking In & Getting Stuck

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A bear managed to find an unlocked door and break-in to a family's car in Manitou Springs early Wednesday morning.

Krystle Dorris said her family woke up to the bear honking the horn. The animal got upset when it got stuck inside.

"He tore the entire top section of paneling up there, tore that down, tore the ceiling down. The doors, the windows are visibly, you can see here there's massive spaces in there and so the window's are probably gonna have to be replaced," said Dorris.

Neighbors said this is one of a dozen cars recently hit by bears.
