Colorado Parks & Wildlife Apologizes For Suspending License Sales

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife released a statement apologizing for suspending the sales of over-the-counter licenses on Tuesday.

According to the statement there were technical difficulties from their vendor, Active Network.

The difficulties were worked out and sales resumed at noon.

"We apologize to our customers, many of whom were waiting in lines across the state," said CPW Information & Education Assistant Director, Gary Thorson. "The vendor, Active Network, had technical difficulties, and we felt it best to wait until the issue was resolved and the system was fully operational."

Colorado Parks and Wildlife said the system is more than 10 years old and they are looking for better system to handle growing demand.
