Coach Demaryius Thomas Holds 3rd Annual Youth Football Camp

DENVER (CBS4) - Demaryius Thomas had a little extra pep in his step as his annual youth football camp was held this weekend. It's probably because of his new $70 million deal.

It was the third year for the camp at Mullen High School. It's for first through eighth-graders.

A couple hundred children were out running around with Coach Thomas who said his focus the last few months has been getting in great shape, and he plans on playing at smaller, and hopefully faster weight this year.,

Thomas told CBS4's Vic Lombardi he is ready for another big year with the Broncos and isn't worried that quarterback Peyton Manning is 39 years old.

"I'm not worried about it at all … he wouldn't have come back if he had a problem. He's not coming back to just play and get a check, he's coming back to try to win a Super Bowl," Thomas said. "I'm not worried about it, he's going to be fine, everybody else is going to be fine, they're going to hold up their own just like I do. I want to win a Super Bowl, everybody else wants to win one, and of course we want to do it for Peyton before he's done."
