Study: Some Of The Country's Most Handsome Men Reside In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - If you've ever strolled through Denver admiring the men who walk their dogs, the ones playing volleyball in the park, or the hipsters at the coffee shop, you're not alone!

According to a study, Denver falls in the top five U.S. cities for most handsome men. Grooming Lounge, hoping to learn which cities would be most receptive to their "business of making men more handsome," assessed 25 cities, ranking Denver as fifth.

In addition to the fitness ranking of the city, they based the findings on several spending criteria per man: on personal care services, personal care products, shaving needs, and apparel.

They state that although handsomeness is subjective, this study measured the men's commitment to appearance.

Grooming Lounge found that a Denver man spends roughly $3,049 each year on personal care items. He also spends $174 on shaving needs annually, and approximately $3,80 on apparel each year. Denver is also the fourth fittest city in the country, which undoubtedly contributes to keeping the men handsome.

The four cities that beat out Denver, from first to fourth, are Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Boston.

Notable cities that Denver ranked above include Austin, Miami, Chicago, and Boulder.
