Co-Conspirator In Oklahoma City Bombing Wants Guns Returned
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A co-conspirator in the 1995 bombing of an Oklahoma City federal building wants a judge to force the FBI to return guns seized from his home 20 years ago so they can be given to one of his two ex-wives or his sister.
Terry Nichols is serving life prison terms for helping Timothy McVeigh with the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.
The Oklahoman and the Tulsa World report that Nichols wrote in a motion filed Monday in a federal district court in Colorado that the guns could be used toward child support. He says he's the father of two children with one of his ex-wives.
A FBI spokesman in Oklahoma City says his agency doesn't have an official response to Nichols' request at this time.
