Coffee Blamed For Semi-Truck Accident Near Brush

BRUSH, Colo. (CBS4) - A distracted semi-truck driver crossed a median and drove off an overpass -- and coffee may be to blame.

The Colorado State Patrol says the 60-year old driver was traveling eastbound on Interstate 76 when he drove off the road.

It's unclear whether the driver spilled his coffee or was drinking coffee when it happened. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.

No other cars were involved.
