'Power Of Poison' Exhibit Shows Venom In Our Everyday Lives

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Museum of Nature And Science opens its newest exhibit on Friday.

The Power of Poison looks at how toxins and venoms have changed over millions of years. The curator said this exhibit will change visitors' outlook.

"Before I got involved in curating this exhibit for the museum, my perspective of course was probably very similar to everyone else's -- venomous snakes, venomous spiders, that's about where it ended. And it turns out it's this fascinating story of poison in so many realms of our lives, that I never even considered," said Dr. Nicole Garneau.
