Colorado Springs Police Investigate Fatal Shooting
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Police in Colorado Springs are investigating a shooting in an apartment that killed one man.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at the apartment on the city's northeast area around 4:30 a.m. Thursday. They found a man who was dead as well as a woman. Despite initial reports that another person was injured, the woman wasn't hurt but she was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Police spokesman Sgt. Joel Kern says detectives are still working to figure out what happened but says there is no threat to the community related to the shooting.
