Charges Filed Against Westminster Man Accused Of Killing His 7-Week-Old Son

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Charges have been filed against a Westminster man accused of killing his 7-week-old son.

According the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, Matthew Allen Burry, 33, has been charged with child abuse resulting in death in Dominic Burry's death on March 24.

"The arrest affidavit alleges that Burry called 911 saying that his son was unresponsive. The baby was rushed to the hospital but later died," Sue Lindsay with the district attorney's office said in a statement.

Burry is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. He scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing next Tuesday.
