Parachute Couple Accused Of Killing Their Infant Daughter Arrested In Minnesota

PARACHUTE, Colo. (CBS4) - A Parachute couple wanted in connection with the death of their 4-week-old daughter have been arrested in Minnesota.

According to Parachute police, officers responded to an apartment on June 20 and found the infant, Sarah Ogden, unresponsive and not breathing. The child died. The coroner hasn't released the cause yet but said the child's death was a homicide.

Police were searching for the child's parents, Matthew Ogden and Phyllis Wyatt, who were arrested Monday in Minnesota after authorities there received a tip the couple might be in the Cass Lake area.

"The Cass County Sheriff's Office in Minnesota, in cooperation with the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department arrested both Matthew Ogden and Phyllis Wyatt, without incident," Parachute Police Chief Cary Parmenter said in a statement.
